EADs approved but unusual emails?????

I applied our Seconds EADs/APs (Myself & Spouse) on March 29, 2005.
Today I got five emails. two from USCIS and three from CRIS.

the two USCIS mails refer to my EAD approval. the three CRIS mails refer to my wife's EAD approval. Also there was an LUD change on my wife's 485 case. the message did not change.

Why did I get approval notices from USCIS and my wife from CRIS?
why did they change my wife's 485 LUD but not mine?
I am just trying to understand if VSC has changed their way of processing?
Previously, we saw only emails from USCIS but not CRIS?

Unusal EAD approval emails?

Same here. Got my EAD approval email from CRIS and on my wifes case got email from USCIS. And even the online message update is also different. Wife's online status (USCIS one) says "This case has been approved. and an approval notice was mailed." And mine(CRIS one) online status says "After approving your application, we ordered you a new card." Well its really strange...let's wait for real EAD cards.
