My Ead is going to expire. Where should I file my I-765 ? Los Angeles Local Office or the Chicago Office ? My friend told me I could go to Los Angeles Office to get my EAD in person, that is, I don't need to renew my EAD so early. Is that right ? Thank you so much !

You could renew it online. They would let you know where to send the supporting documents. Make sure you renew your EAD 90 days before it expires.
If you dont renew it, then you cannot get an interim EAD either, if thats what your buddy told you.

Thank you for your reply. In fact, my friend didn't mention about the interim EAD. He just told me that I could renew my EAD at the Los Angeles Office. He said I could get my new EAD at the same day. Anyway, I am going to renew it online. Thanks again !

The only EAD you can get the same day at the DO is the interim EAD and you have to wait for 90 days from the RD of your original application.
