What date is considered for day 1 of counting of 90 days for EAD:

ND or RD?

Also are these dates different for 485/EAD/AP/140?

And what is difference in iEAD and EAD?

Temporary Evidence of Employment Authorization: If you have not received a decision within 90 days of receipt by the USCIS of a properly filed application or within 30 days of a properly filed initial EAD application based on an asylum application filed on or after January 4, 1995, you may obtain interim work authorization by appearing in person at your local USCIS District or Sub Office. You must bring proof of identity and any notices that you have received from USCIS in connection with your application for employment authorization.

1. RD based on the above

2. I don't understand the question

3. EAD is issued by the service center and is valid for a year.

iEAD is issued by the local office and is valid for anywhere from 4 months to 8 months. You need to go there in person with all the relevant docs to get one. An iEAD will be issued only if:
1. Your EAD hasn't been approved
2. Current Date - RD on your I-765 receipt > 90 days

Thanks needgc123.

If iEAD is valid for 4-8 months, so what is a person supposed to do once it is over? Will he/she get EAD in that time frame or not?

What he/she has to do for renewal after a year? Use iEAD specifics to fill form of renewal?

How long before it (iEAD) is over, one should apply for renewal?

Answers to your question:

Hopefully it isn't that bad and you get your EAD approval within the iEAD validity period . You can get your iEAD extended at your local office in the worst case scenario that you are talking about, you don't have reapply.
