EAD without Finger Print on it - Please read

We just received an extension of EAD for my wife from VSC. But the EAD card does not have my wife\'s Finger Print on it. It says "No Finger Print". For some reason, my lawyer/ourselves did not send in the Finger Print paper along with I-765 form. Her first EAD has clear Finer Print on it though. We want to know what we should do now. Can she start using her card without any problems. I appreciate if you can share your exepriences and expert opinions on this.

Normally if you go to an INS center personally and apply for an EAD, they will take your finger print on the card. That\'s what happened to me for my first EAD. I went to a local center and applied for EAD and therefore, my first EAD had finger print on them. If you apply for EAD by mail, it WILL not have any finger print on them. This is the case with my second EAD. Therefore, do not worry about not having FP on EAD. Hope this helps.

FP on EAD is not compulsory. I called up INS and they told me that the Finger Print which we take are not valid anyway. It has to be taken by INS to be valid. So if we send a Finger print they will put it, but it is not required.
