EAD while on H1B visa

These are my case details

I-140 Approved
I-485/EAD/AP RD (05/22/06)
spouse EAD AD (06/22)

spouse is on H1B visa working with EmployerA and wants to use EAD to join EmployerB.

Here are my questions

1. Can she use EAD? (180 days time limit)
2. I heard that 180 days rule is only applicable to primary application. Is it true?
3. Does she has to notify USCIS about changing status from H1B to 485 pending AOS?

1. Can she use EAD? (180 days time limit)

Yes, she can use EAD. 180 days is related to AC21. It has no direct relation to dependent.

2. I heard that 180 days rule is only applicable to primary application. Is it true?

Yes, that also in case of changing the job under AC21.

3. Does she has to notify USCIS about changing status from H1B to 485 pending AOS?
