EAD - walk in?

Anyone here have any idea how long it is taking to get EAD from NSC these days? Its been 2 months and I haven't received it yet. I have heard that if you don't get it in 90 days you can walk into a local USCIS office and request it. How true is this?

Also, any idea how long AP is taking from NSC?

It is taking NSC about 70-90 days for EAD and AP, so wait little more

kgp, thanks for your response. I guess I need to wait at least another 15 days or so. BTW, does anyone know if FP for 485 has any impact on EAD processing i.e. do they wait for 485 fingerprints before issuing EAD?

FP for 485

I got my paperfiled EAD approved at NSC within 70 days on 4/11. Meanwhile I had done FP for 485 after that got my EAD. If you had efiled EAD then they should ask you to go for biometrics.
