EAD Validity Period

I just applied for my 3rd EAD. There was some talk last year about the EAD validity being more than 1 year. Is this true?

They talked about it but I have never seen anyone yet saying they have received one.

I just got mine approved (chk the signature..). The validity is 1 year..

yes, there were talks about making it more than one year but nothing concrete happened. I got my EAD yesterday valid for one year

Yeah -- the more than 1 yr thing never happened for Employment Based Applications.
I think family based cases are getting more than 1 year -- not sure - if some can confirm this, it'll be great
