A friend of mine and I submitted 485 application the same time (mid April). He got his EAD in about 20 days. Later lawyer called to verify EAD received and told him TSC processes primary applicant first, so just be patient for spouse. However, early this month my wife received her EAD while mine still pending. The funny thing about my wife\'s EAD is that it is valid for 2 years. The date is from May 31, 2001 till May 30, 2003.

EAD approved
Last night the AVM changed to "This case has been approved". On the 18th AVM was "On approving your application a new card has been ordered for you. Normal processing is taking 60 to 90 days. The new card will be mailed to you as soon as it is available".
By the way, my wife\'s EAD is valid for two years (starting May last year). I don\'t know if I want call them to correct it or not.
People say all EAD will be approved in less than 90 days. But for a friend of mine, his wife still waiting (January case). She called and the center told her that her case was mixed with May applicants.
