EAD valid for 2 years!!!

Folks,

It has happened. Rajiv has confirmed that one of his clients has received an EAD valid for 2 years although there is no official announcement as yet.

Is this gonna be retroactive by any chance or only for filers from hencforth..
(I think I know the answer to this question but just thought that I should ask)
