EAD valid for 2 years!!

no good

mmm...I tend to think that it does not sound good. It means that BCIS does not believe in reducing the I-485 backlog and issue GC in timely manner (and I am not thinking about 6 months!).

I am waiting a GC...everything else is a patch...

That is one way of looking at it. If you have a different view, you could see that this will relieve (or at least lighten) the BCIS folks of the load of issuing EADs year after year. Hopefully, this would let them assign more people to clear up 485s.

Seems like INS is atleast aware of the huge backlog.Need to wait and see if they are really serious about reducing the backlog.

Does anyone know if Rajiv specifically asked for a 2-year EAD when applying or if INS approved it for 2 years on their own?

Also, has anyone from CSC seen a 2-yr EAD approval? (I'm assuming the client Rajiv is mentioning did not file to CSC.)

Thanks
