Here i go for another Company A and B question.

I got EAD from a companyB doing my GC in future employee category. Can i use that to work part-time?
Currently i am on h-1 for company A, which is also sponsoring my gc and am in LC stage.

Yes, but if EAD used then you will not be on H1 status and will need valid AP to renter US in future

thanks for the reply, i am missing something here. How can INS find out that i am working part-time? they don't keep tabs on this right?
is this some thing you just follow just to play it safe and not jeopardize either gc process?

--- They can find out anything and don’t play with your GC process. If you use EAD you will not be on H1, if you want to maintain H1 status don’t use EAD.
 
Doing things that isn't legal could put you at great risk.

You can take up more than one job if you are using your EAD.Full time/part-time doesn't matter. However you cease to be on H1 anymore
