Hi All,
First, I applied my EAD renewal at LA/california office since my 485 is in pending in LA/california office. But with out looking my 485 receipt, they rejected my application and asked me to forward it to Lincoln/Nebraska since i am living in Chicago.
Then i mailed out the same application to Lincoln/NE and they sent me a receipt number dated 09/20/2003. but after 50 days, on 11/06, they transfered my EAD case back to LA saying that my 485 in in pending at LA.
Now my current EAD expires on 12/24/2003. so, to get my Interim EAD, should i wait 90 days from original receipt data of 09/20/2003 or transfer date 11/06/2003.
I called INS customer service at 800-375-5283, they told me that i should wait 90 days from transfer date not from original receipt date. Is that right? i don't believe this, if that the case i will loose my job. please advice.
