EAD Tracker for Dec 2002 and Jan/Feb/March 2003

EAD and AP :
Dec 02, 2002 -> RD
Jan 23, 2003 -> RFE issued (online status said so)
Feb 4, 2003 -> RFE received by INS (online status updated)
waiting for approval.

Friend of mine (who applied at the same time) :
EAD only :
Dec 05, 2002 -> RD
Jan 27, 2003 -> EAD approved (online status said so) !!!!
waiting for the card to come.
 
EAD approved !!!!

Hey ! Online status says now that the EAD was approved on Feb 10, 2003. Earlier in the morning, it wasnt saying so. For details of the case etc... look at my earlier post in this thread.

Btw, the RFE asked us to send a latest copy of any Photo-ID that stated the Date of Birth. I guess this was because we hadnt sent the I-765 application with the I-485 (in Oct 2002), coz we had planned on getting the EAD locally. But after recent developments, they stopped issuing the EADs locally, and we had to send the I-765 form separately (in Dec 2002). The same thing happened to two of us here in St.Louis

Still waiting for AP approval.

My lawyer sent the EAD form to the local office. Finally we had to send it to NSC.:rolleyes:

And now the online says that they have issued an RFE for the AP application also. This is fun ! grrr....

Now the online status saying below on my case:

On February 8, 2003, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 60 and 75 days for us to process this kind of case. However, because preliminary processing was complete before we requested the additional material, the remaining processing time for this stage of your case is approximately 75 days. You will receive a written decision on this case.


Did you get this knid of info from online after your REF rcvd?

How many days it took to approve your case after the REF rcvd? Only 6 days?
