I am > 180 days past I-485 filing, I-140 & EAD approved and want to
change employer. Currently employed with company A, in the chain are
company B & Company C then the client, company C is authorized vendor
to the client. In this situation, can I join directly join Company C using EAD?
what are the implications? can my current employer withdraw my underlying
I-140 petition? would this result in denial of permanent residency?

Secondly, after I join company C, can company A technically sue me if
Company B fails to pay billing dues owing to me leaving company A suddenly?

Please shed light on the issues above.

Thanks,

Yes, Implication: similar job with new employer- same I485(see AC21 portability forum archives), yes employer can attempt to, you will get a RFE- if you respond properly GC will not be denied.

That depends on the contract.
