f-1 terminated on september 17 2005 on our wedding date.

Timeline

10/10/05 i-130, i-485, i-765 send to chicago lockbox
10/17/05 forms recieved
10/24/05 notices received
11/10/05 FP and biometrics done for i-485 and i-765
since than waiting and waiting
 
Approval

Yes! I got an email from CRIS.

Approved on 11/22/2005, surpringsingly fast.
The card was ordered and will be mailed.
I hope it will reach me within two weeks because I'm moving.
Good Luck to everyone.
Now it's time to look forward to the GC.

Congrats Froddan,

I still havent heard anything about mine, Got my AP approved but no change in EAD. Had a LUD change in my AP for yesterday again but no news on my EAD.

Folks any suggestion

What's the estimated time from AD to actually receiving the card in the mail?

I think I should apply for the AP, maybe electronically, has anyone had any experience with the Electronic AP filing?

Just did biometrics for EAD & AOS today with only AOS fingerprint appointment in NYC. Line was really long and freezing cold outside!!! Just check with USCIS site and it was updated already:

Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status:

On November 23, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Hopefully will get the actual card soon :D
 
I just received my EAD card on 11/25.

It took just 1 week to receive the EAD card.

Approved: 11/8/05

For those waiting for the card I got it in the mail a week after I got the email from CRIS.

Ead Approved Finally

Hello All,

Today i went to the Bloomington, MN DO to find out the status on my case and to my suprise they have already approved MY EAD, For some reason the online status doesnt show it to be approved. Approved on NOV 21

Ari4u can you please update my timeline

Now i have to wait for my EAD to come in the mail!!!!

could you please tell me if they asked to see your passport when you went for your interim EAD. what did they ask to see?

Hi Anna05,

It is better to take your passport as well as your drivers lisence. They will ask for your id when you go into meet the Immigration officer.
 
I would like to join the timeline, sent my complete pkg to the local USCIS office but they forwarded to NBC/MSC. I live in West Palm Beach, FL. I also have a question, could it be possible that NBC/MSC forwards the EAD/AOS case back to the local USCIS office? :)

I'm moving out of state next week.

Does anyone know the best way to notify bcis about the change?

Will one notification change the address for all my pending cases?

You need to file AR-11 to inform DHS of your address change.

You need to call USCIS to update your applications with the new address.

If your sponsor is also changing address, then I-865 needs to be filed.

I was asked for my passport and drivers license when i went to get my Interim EAD.

I was also asked to show the I-765 receipt notice and I-485 receipt notice as a proof of being eligible for the c(9) category. You need to take with you a completed I-765 but you dont have to pay the fees again.

For all the folks who have received their EADs and APs, did your online change to reflect your EAD and AP approval? Also, did you all get an email when the online status changed? Thanks.
