EAD through I130, Advance Parole process time

Hello,
I got My EAD applied through My wife, she is a US Citizen. Iam planning to travel to India and want to apply for Advance Parole, how long does this take if Iam applying from NJ.

What is the service center when I apply from NJ. Can I travel to India with only EAD, which expires next year in Feb. I don't have an H1 Visa, I can use. Will the security accept My EAD, what is the process.

Is there someone who went through this experience or can you guide Me.

How long is it taking to get a Green card when applied through a US citizen wife applying I130.

Don't travel until you get a Advance Parole. You can not travel on EAD, you will not be able to reenter the country. File I-131 ASAP. It cost $165 for AP. If you do travel without the AP your case might be denied and you will not be able to reenter the country.

Also make sure you have not overstayed your visa. If you have then don't leave the country. Because that will trigger 3-10 years of ban from re-entering.
 
What do you mean by overstayed. Is that overstayed on My H1.

When I get My AP, can I travel with My EAD which expires in Feb. Meaning we don't need visa and EAD will help.

What is the Service Center, I should look for if I had applied for My I485 from NJ.

Overstayed means living in US illegally for any period of time. EAD IS NOT FOR TRAVELING, IT IS A WORK PERMIT. IT IS NOT GIVING YOU ANY IMMIGRATION STATUS. IT IS CLEARLLY WRITTEN ON EAD THAT IT CAN NOT BE USED TO TRAVEL. YOU CAN TRAVEL WITH YOUR AP.
You have to file your I 485 at Chicago Lockbox. Please refer www.INS.gov for basic instruction on filing I 485.

When you mean I can travel using AP, will the security look at the AP and decide on the time limit. What are the documents we need when we are travelling if we have AP.

I did apply at the Chicago lock box, what service center this location belongs.

I heard applying through a spouse who is a US citizen is faster, but it looks like it is taking the same time limit like other categories for I485.

AP is valid for one year for multiple entry. When you will re-enter in US, the officer will look at your AP and will stamp it. You have to come back to US before your AP expires.
Chicago lockbox is seperate from any service center. Here they review all appication fro eligibility.

They just review the application there. After that it goes to Missouri Service Center also know as National Benifit Center. They issue AP & EAD. After that your file will go to your local DO. They will call you for an interview. So for AP & EAD look at the tileline of National Benifit Center. According to ppl's experience here, it takes 2 months to get AP & EAD.
