EAD through green card

Hi,
Im an F1 student who just graduated in December and applied for EAD under F1. Im planning to marry a US citizen and apply for green card as a spouse while staying in the US. Im just curious if I can apply for another EAD as a spouse after filing for green card and whether it would conflict with the current EAD under F1.

Yes you can apply for an AOS based EAD, apply and receiving it poses no issue with the OPT based EAD. However, using the AOS based EAD to undertake authorized employment will invalidate your F1 status (assuming it is still valid as at the time the AOS based EAD gets used).

You can find the processing time for marriage based AOS directly from USCIS’s website. DV based AOS is unique, it does not follow the typical processing timeline, that is why this forum has a separate tracking tool for it.

Nowadays, they have combined all cases into one office and they don't show processing times. I have one more question: Will the EB2 NIW be faster than the marriage-based Green Card AOS?
