EAD - switching back to H1

I am currently on H1 with CompAAA (valid till 2009) and I also have an EAD through my husband's employer.

I have a new fulltime job offer from CompXXX , but the CompXXX is not ready to sponser my H1. I may have to use EAD.

In case we get into trouble with my husband's GC process and if my EAD gets invalid, Do I have an option of switching back to H1 anytime without going through quota issues?

Note: CompAAA isn't revoking my H1.

You would fall under new H1B subject to quota as you have already worked on EAD and abandoned H1B status. Also, you would need to go outside the country and get it stamped and then start working on your new H1B once you start working on EAD.

How about applying for a fresh H1 with a new company CompBBB on this April 1st?

Here's what I am trying to say...

1. Apply for fresh H1 with CompBBB
2. Start using EAD
3. My current H1 with CompAAA is revoked / invalidated

If there is any problem with GC,

4. Can I start using my H1 with CompBBB ??

Why would you need to apply H1 through CompBBB, when you have intentions to work on EAD
2. Start using EAD
Using EAD INVALIDATES your H1 through CompBBB
3. My current H1 with CompAAA is revoked / invalidated
Its no use as EAD precedes.

If there is any problem with GC,

I am confused what you are trying to say here. You are trying to mix apples with oranges. If you want to use EAD, dont even think of applying a H1 with any company (be either CompAAA, CompBBB or CompCCC)..
