I had a question on the legal/illegal status on EAD. I was in the US from 1992-95 as a student. After my studies I was granted an EAD on which I worked for about a year. My EAD expired in March 1995 but I worked on it for a few more weeks and then was visiting family and friends before I went back to India in September 1995.
I came back to the US in Dec 2000 on H1..applied for labor in Oct 2001 and got i approved in Oct 2002. I applied for 140 and 485 earlier this year. I wanted to know would my stay in 1995 have any effect/bearing on my AOS. If so is there any way for me to make ammends for it.
