EAD - separate filing

Hi,
  Does anyone know how to file for EAD separately
from AOS application? What are the forms involved,
and where should one file? Does one need an attorney
to do it, or can do it oneself?

It\'s simple

Just follow the instructions on I-765 Form. Fill in the form, enclose two photos, a copy of I-485 notice, the fingerprint slip, the statement of true copies (found in the I-765 package or create one on your own with the same wording), copy of your I-94 (front and back), a copy of your passport (the photo page only), and the payment.
