EAD second job

can I do second job with EAD and take vacation on first job, please advice

I am eligible for AC21 now. I checked with attorney that with EAD my new job start time can overlap with my old job ending time. I am thinking whether I can take a long vacation on the first job and take the new job as a second job until my GC gets approved. (I expect my GC will get approved in no time. If GC doesn't come in 1 - 2 month, I will use AC21)

Suppose the current company don't have problem with my vacation, will there be any risk?

Please advice.

Green Card is typically for a future job offer......

as long as your present employer is willing (not to withdrwa I-140) and you finished 6 months on I-485 ...you should be fine...
