We have filed 485 in Vermont under employment C(9), and file is currently in Detroit local office, since we moved to Detroit.
Per EAD instructions, "EAD should be filed where 485 application is pending, but this does NOT apply to employment based applications..."
So I filed my wife's (dependant) EAD in Vermont where my 485 was filed. Now EAD is returned back to us. Saying"
"Your application is based on an immigrant classification that is not processed at this office. You must file with: ___TSC ___X ___NSC ___CSC ____MSC ____your local CIS office
When resubmitting your petition/application, please use the address of the office indicated above. Do Not use the address at the bottom of this page as additional delays will result.
Nebraska Service center
850 "S" street....."
a) No address indicated above
b) address at the bottom of page is, Vermont service center address.
My question is:
1)
Where should I file my wife' ead? Im confused as the notice highlights "local CIC office" The notice also mentiones Nebraska service center.
2)
I have also sent my EAD to same vermont office, and expecting return.
If anybody knows where to file, please let me know.
