I am a regular forum reader and would like to get your opinions on this issue.

485/ead/AP rd 1/20/2003. EAD/AP approved 6/3/2003.
140 rd 11/4/2002. Approved 5/4/2003.

In the mean time we moved and applied just AR-11 for both of us.
But we didnt call the VSC 800 number as i am not aware and thought that i just need to send the Ar-11. But luckily i received my forwarded EAD and my wifes EAD was sent back. At that time we are busy as my Wife is carrying and had a baby and never bothered even to do anything about that EAD.
Recently on Jan 5 2004 i called the 800 support number in regards to my wifes card and they mentioned that i have to apply for a new card.
My attorney asked me to go to the local Center and they mentioned they cant do anything and i have to write a letter and ask the VSC people to resend.
So my attorney prepared a letter with the approved notice for my wifes EAD and the old Ar-11 form i sent to the INS. Its alomost 4 weeks and i am waiting for a response.

Please let me know if there is any other way i can handle this.

thanks

Call your local congressman's office. One call from them INS/CIS/BCIS will pee in the pants and send you the card to new address. If not they will trouble you for ever.

I went thru this for about 9 months. Applied twice , called customer server atleast 10 times for updating the address and sent ar11 3 times (2 times registered post) and atlast called my congressman's office , one call from them, BCIS not only sent the card to the new address within 3 days but also sent a letter saying they updated my address.

BCIS operates like any of the indian govt depts. Need to get backing from bhai log or else you cant get your work done.

Good LUck

state/federal congressman...

Thanks For your input.
when we talk about congressman on this forum , do we mean State or Federal congressman. Also please let me know your experinces in trying to reach the local congressmans offices in regards to our immigration issues with the BCIS.
I will try to reach my local congress mans office once i am clear about State/federal distinction.

Thanks For your time.
