Guys,

I got my EAD renewed and have received the cards. Me and my wife both got our cards on 11/12/2002. We RD for EAD renewal was 10/11/2002 and we got the receipts on 10/21/2002. Yesterday we got our new cards which is valid till jan 2004. Still waiting to hear from INS regarding I-485 application.

RD - 11/16/2001
ND - 12/11/2001
FP - 02/01/2002
EAD Renewed - 11/08/2002
New EAD Card Recd. - 11/12/2002
 
How can EAD be valid till Jan 2004

they are valid for a year.. if you received approval now, they should be valid for the same date of next year( 2003)

Yes they are valid for a year, the extension EAD is valid from the date of expiry of the original EAD. In this case pat_kar original EAD expires in jan 2003 do add another year and you will solve your equation....
 
EAD Question

My current EAD expires 01/03/2003 and my new EAD is valid from 01/04/2003 to 01/03/2004.

My EAC # is EAC-02-060-53***

Can you please post the link where I can get I-765 for EAD renewal?? And also what all doc should I attach?

I wasn't clear in my question. Actually I was looking for EAD's receipt Number.
I've also applied for renewal, and my receipt # is EAC 03 021 #####, I was just wondering how long it will take fo my case to get approved. My RD is 10/15/2002 and ND is 10/28/2002.
If you get that info that'll be great. Appreciate your time.

As for the documents needed for EAD renewal.

1. EAD Renewal Application form (I-765)
2. Your current EAD copy (Back and Front)
3. INS Style Pictures (2 Copies)
4. Copy of I-485 Receipt
