EAD renewal

how many months before EAD expiration can we file EAD renewal.
I have 6 months for expiry of EAD

in case of eEAD , can we walk in to the service center or do
we need to take appointment.

You can just walk into the Boston office, prepare
for a long wait, though.

Are walkins allowed for eEAD.

An appointment date is choosen by us or do they assign a date and a center ??? how does it work ???

I'm not sure about electronic EAD, but I have walked into
the Boston office to renew my EAD 2 weeks before it expired.
You bring in a money order and other stuff and you get it the
same (long) day.

In the USCIS web site, it clearly indicate that you should apply EAD renew at six months before it expires. Read the second bullet in the first paragraph:

At least Boston office, if you have NOT applied electronically.
If you have, I think you have to wait 90 days since filing to be able to get a
temporary EAD from a local office.

is it 90 business days or calender days ?
I applied for 3rd EAD in October. RD 10/09/2003 ND 10/14/2003.

I appreciate if someone could tell me when I should go to get my iEAD.

At Newark office, people can walk in for photo, fingerprint and signature for e-filed EAD application. But better to make an appointment.
