One more thing..
If you want to start work for new employer, then one should have EAD card(according to my attorney). It is because, when you apply for EAD renewal, new EAD is going to be valid from the day old EAD is going to expire. So, it doesn't matter when your next EAD is approved, 2 or 3 months after old EAD is expired.
