EAD renewal

I thought you got approved for the 485. Why do you care for the EAD approval. Most time they dont even process EAD after 485 approval!

Hi all,

What documents do you need to submit along with your EAD renewal application? Is it only the application or do you need to submit paystubs/ tax returns or other documents as well?

I am yet to receive the new EAD card in hand. My guess is that it would be valid for another year.

What sucks is that not only the new card for me is valid for just one year, the one year period starts the day EAD was approved. I ended up losing about 45 days on my first EAD. In effect we pay USCIS for 10-11 months of EAD validity each time we apply, unless you can time the renewal perfectly.
