EAD renewal

folks which is easier for EAD renewal:

1) E-file?
2) Pay one's attorney and let 'em deal with it?

any personal experiences/opinions would be appreciated

I filed my renewal EAD myself (paper) last month and got approved yesterday. It is very simple process.
