EAD renewal

Hi,

I need to apply my EAD renewal may be I'm going do it thru online, my company didn't provided me I-140 receipt numbers for me and for my wife.
Can I submit my EAD renewal without I-140 info ?

I dont think you need I140 information to renew EAD. .

you need the following documents

• 2 photos which fits INS requirement with A# and name written with pencil on back.
• A check $120.00 for I-765 renewal fee made in the name of "Immigration and naturalization service"
• Original Form I-797 D (from last EAD)
• I -765 Renewal Application
• A copy of last EAD(front and back)
• A copy of Form I-94 Departure Record (front and back)
• A copy of I-485 Receipt Notice
• A copy of last I-765 Receipt Notice
• Marriage Cetificate for secondary applicant.

Some service centers like NSC may also ask for I-140 filing receipt and color copy of Driving license and color copy of first page of passport that has your photograph, PP# and DOB. VSC also asked few in the past

Where does one get their original I-765 D from the previous EAD?

My EAD expires in Sept 2004. How early should I apply for renewal?

now is good time..

You can apply upto 6 months before expiration of your EAD

I765 is the mailer that you received the EAD in.
The EAD is fixed into this mailer and sent to you by the UCIS , just like credit cards are send in the mailers.

The I765 speeds up the process of EAD renewal.
Apply for EAD renewal atleast 5 to 6 months in advance. In your case i think you could start applying right now.
