I had filed for my EAD renewal (04/27) and have not yet gotten the renewal. My currnet EAD renewal expires 08/25. I am planning to go to the Local INS to get the Temporary EAD. Do I need to take prior appointment, what day of week should I go OR any day is fine. Whar are the documents require. Any experience ar Newark local Ins. Please share your suggestions. Thanks

EAD Renewal - VERY URGENT/IMP PLEASE HELP

HI, Me and my husband applied for our renewal cards on Jun 15 2000
and were approved by Jul 21 and got the cards in mail by Jul 31st.
I think you should call them up and speak to them.

Did INS approve your application yet? Or you just can\'t get any message from their phone system. My EAD renewal ND is 5/1/00, photo rejected on July 7. Resent photos on July 15. Get approved on July 31. However, the platic card still doesn\'t show up yet. My EAD will be expired in the same day as yours.
Go to local INS office, I think you\'d better check INS-Newark website first. You should find the info. for EAD. As I know, you should bring I-765 receipt, old EAD, I-485 receipt, and Money order. Probably you need to fill out a new I-765 form, and bring pictures in case they don\'t take picture on site.

My case is similar to yours. My EAD expires on 09/28/00. Applied onn 06/18/00. ND is 06/28/00
The automated message told case was approved on 07/28/00. But today the message changed to Request for additional information was sent. Is your case similar to this. I hope this is related to photos. Btw, my wife applied at the same time and she got the renewal.
