EAD renewal & SSN

Hi

I am working on H1. I dont have EAD yet. But my spouse has EAD, though she is not using it. She is not working. But based on that EAD , she got SSN, and has opened bank acct and took a cellphone.

It is expiring on Jan-14-2005. Now as our 485 cases are transferred to local
district office , what does she need to do? Is it required to renew EAD , to
keep her SSN?

If we have to do the renewal then where should we do it? Should we do it
online or Should we go to lcoal district office? Do they require any
appointment for that?

No, once she has the SSN she has it for life. If she is not working and has no plans to do so, there is no need to renew the EAD.

Thanks RealCanadian. My attorney also confirmed it today. But just wanted to make is sure. Cannot take risks with INS
