EAD renewal sent to a different center?!

Hi All,

My attorney sent my EAD renewal to NSC, and I got a receipt with Lin-XXX. But all of my EAD/AP, I-485 are processed at TSC. Will that be a problem? My GC is still pending. Thanks.

Recently USCIS issued bi-specialization guidelines for various applications filing based on applicant's geographical jurisdictions. Your 485 may have been filed when you or your sponsoring employer were under TSC (or VSC/transfer) jurisdiction. but now (if you moved) may be under NSC jurisdiction.

However, I guess all service center have access to your Alien file and NSC should be able to adjudicate your EAD without any problem.

Thanks! Do you know where I can find the bi-specialization guidelines? When did they issue it? My I-485 was sent to NSC in 07/2006, and transferred to TSC. My first two EADs were also issued from TSC.

Hopefully the new Memo for name check will bring me my Green Card soon.
