EAD renewal Rejection Notice

Dear all,



I sent I765 with copies of I485 -I130 -current EAD card and SSN card and 340$ check payable to USCIS and today I got Notice of Action its says.

Rejection Notice

''Recently, you submitted an application for immigration benefits. That form was submitted with extra remittance that is not required to process your application, or incorrect fee was submitted. Your check is being returned to you with this notice. No additional action by you is required at this time. Please comply with any other reject notice you may receive."

and they returned my check which is 340$ . My I130 and I485 has been waiting since last February. now I am worrying a lot : (

I could not understand why is this notice? Did they denied my I485? or what?

Any input greatly appreciated.

If you have paid $1,010.00 I-485 fees, then you dont need to pay additional $340.00 for I-765 Applicaton for Employment Authorization. Refile along with copy of I-485 receipt notice with $0.00 fee
 
but this is foing to be my second EAD first one was in last January which I filed all together.

For renewal should not I suppose to pay it?

If you have filed I-485 initially with $1,010.00 fees, then no matter how many times you file for renewal of I-765, you pay NO fees. No fee policy is good for new I-765 and renewal filings as long as new revised/restructured fee is paid with I-485 which is $1,010.00. Refile I-765 renewal along with copy of I-485 receipt notice with $0.00 fee
