EAD Renewal question?

ND: 12/12/00 - EB3 Others - VSC

My EAD & AP expires in January 2002 & I would like to get it renewed soon...my question is, can I get it renewed at Newark Local INS office or do I have to get it done from VSC?

Also, how long does the renewal process take??

Chances are that you wont get it by Jan 2002 (I could be wrong)
After 90 days from RD on the recipt notice take it down to the local INS and they should give you an interim EAD.

The only thing I am not sure about is whether you can work with an EAD receipt. Talk to an IIO else go down to the local INS on the expiry day and explain the situation. They may waive the 90 day waiting period. Good luck
