My EAD was approved last year and is valid until September 2006. I recently applied for my H1B extension as my spouse is on H4. I have not used EAD and wont be able to take advantage of it until my spouse file 485. Could someone tell me if I apply renewal of my EAD. Will appreciate your input.

not sure what ur question is. yes u can apply for renewal of ur ead without jeopardizing ur husband's h-4 status as long as u dont use that ead for employment.

why can't your spouse file for 485 until the PD gets current?
you don't have to renew your EAD if you are not using it.
In the future, if you wish to renew your EAD you can do so.
