EAD renewal question

My EAD is expiring on Feb 2006.

My spouse is applying L1 Extention and my L2 extention.

1. Can I apply for EAD once he gets the reciept number? Or should I wait for L1/L2 approval

2. Can I continue work, once I apply for EAD extention? Or should I wait for EAD approval?

I also have the same problem.My Husband is in L1 and i'm in L2 with EAD.Our visa and my EAD is Expiring in June,2006.I'm also working.His company has still not filed L1 ext.

Plz clarify.

I am also having the same situation , my EAD is expiring in Feb 2006, I m currently working for an employer, the employer of my spouse has filed for L1A and my L2 extension, but she has not yet got the reciept number, should I apply for my EAD now, I think if she doesn't get an I-94 it will delay the process of my EAD renewal,

any help is greatly appreciated

One should apply for EAD renewal 180 days before expiry. Ditto with L visa extensions.

You are not authorized to work in between EADs.
