EAD renewal period

Earlier EAD renewals can be filed within 6 months of its expiry, it seems the renewal period is now changed to 4 months.

Can someone confirm this? is this correct?

Quite a new information to me, I just sent out a renewal for my husnad EAD which expires on Jul1st. It reached there on March 3rd. I am glad I did not send priority mail.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. EAD Renewal has indeed brought down to 4 months or 120 days before expiration.

It's under # Home > Services & Benefits > Employment Authorization
section on www.uscis.gov
