EAD Renewal - Need Info.

Hi guys,

My EAD & AP are going to expire in Sep 1st 2001 (~4.5 months from now).

INS web site it says 6 months before expiration, apply for renewal. In some place it says 3 months / 90 days window, apply for renewal.

PLEASE POST YOUR EAD RENEWAL EXPERIENCE AT TEXAS SERVICE CENTER.

My I485 Receipt # SRC-00-245-*****

Hi It took me almost 1.5 months to get my EAD and AP. I had applied for that in Jan.
I would suggest that you go ahead and apply your EAD and AP.

This is from TSC.

My EAD was going to expire on 3/25 and i applied for renewal on 1/19, received renewed EAD dated 3/7/01. So, i would imagine you allow 90 days and should have your card in 45-60 days.

Since I had a valid H1B visa on my PP. attorney advised not to renew Ap and I did not. As luck would have it I got my I 485 approved 6 days before AP expired..........Lucked out....
