EAD renewal help

Gurus,

I am planning to send my EAD renewal, but have a couple questions.

1)what should I write on current immigration status?
(Right now I am working on H1B and never used EAD) - H1B?

2)But my wife is using EAD. So, she has to write AOS(pending I-485)?

You are H-1B and your wife is "Pending AOS"

I did efile

I did efile for me and wife on 5/5.
Send the documents in two separate envelops.

FP also done this week.

I would send it separately - I don't know how smart mail room employees are - so why take the chance ?
You would want to do everything that you possibly can to minimize any screw-ups !
