EAD renewal help

I used my advance parole in Jan 2004 when entered US and my I-485 is pending.Now I am renewing my EAD,so please advise me what to write in column 14 in I-765 form which is asking "manner of last entry".Shall I write adjustment of status or Advance parole.

I think you must write PAROLLEE as your status will be the same since you are parolled into the USA

You need to send a color copy of either the passport or the drivers license specially for dependents.

----- yes, send color copy of driving licence AND color copy of the first page of your passport that has your photograph, DOB, name on it with other documents
** for spouse all above and marriage certificate copy

I am planning to apply manually instead of using on-line for my EAD renewal.


I don't have my I-140 and I-485 receipts and my attorney is not willing
provide those.I know my receipts numbers , my question is - can I use
online status copies instead of the copies of these original receipts to send
the documents to INS ?

Online copies?. Are you talking about the status message that appears on the CIS website , if so then i think that cant be used. You need a copy of the I797 receipt received for I485. I did not send the 140 receipt, i dont think its required.

Why is your lawyer not giving you the I485 receipt, is it because he wants to make money on EAD renewal. I think he is a crook. If i were you i would change the lawyer,

Check with others i am pretty sure that they wont accept a printed online status copy. You better get the copy from the lawyer.
 
I tried once again,my attorney is not comfortable in giving the I-485 receipt.
Is there any other way I can obtain the receipt other than changing
the attorney?

Tell your attorney you want to apply for EAD yourself as it is a simple process and you would like a copy of the I485 receipt for that. Dont ask for the original, try to get a copy. I dont see any other way to get a receipt
