My attorney has not filed for my EAD renewal on time and I find myself with two weeks left before my current EAD expires. If it goes through E-file would it be possible to get an interim EAD before my expiration date. Any idea to speed up the process is welcome, what other options do I have to continue working without having to sit out?

Hi,
my wife had the same issue and what happens is that we were advised by the attorneys to have her off payroll until the EAD got approved, which took us a month to happen.
She talked to her employer and he agreed to have her working off payroll and when the EAD got approved she would be back again and he would pay her for the time she was off as a bonus.
I holpe you manage to get a similar deal.
