EAD Renewal Gap options

In the long run, it may cause you harm. Again, this is personal I would not work if ead is not approved and not in hand.

At this point I think so too. I will take off while I wait for the approval unless my lawyer suggests otherwise. Better to be safe than sorry.

wow, you can't stop swearing. Those comments took a toll on you..I feel better.

I think it was a bit of everything...cheap, buffets, the fact that you were being such an obvious hypocrite. Just overall you came across as a low-life scum (evil or otherwise) who goes around stinking up whatever it touches. In the real world, douchebags like you probably get beaten up every now and then for your fake attitude, a la Sreesanth circa 2008.

amitkoh,
You should be sent to a place where there are no human beings. You dont have right to post any more message before your id will be revoked.

you mean "or your id will be revoked". "before your id will be revoked' seem to make no sense..

You are obviously a troll with nothing positive to contribute in these forums. If you want to be taken seriously, I suggest you create a new account and start from scratch as you've lost any respect or reputation under this username, if you had any.

What is with all this anger ? you need to calm down and get a life

If she has used her EAD, then I would guess her current status for that field would be "A.O.S. (adjustment of status)". But don't take my word for it....especially if you are working on a valid H1 and her H4 has also not expired (in terms of validity date). This may be one of those corner cases...wait for others to pitch in.

You cannot file a renewal prior to 120 days of your current EAD expiration. File it as soon as you hit 120 days. I have always e-filed (I am on my 5th EAD now) and one of the benefits amongst others is that you get your RD at that instant.
If you dont get it in 75-80 days, take an infopass appointment on the 91st day - this way you still have a month before your current one expires.
Hope this helps!!

Hi GC_NJ_USA,

Do you efile it yourself or take the help of any lawyer?

Thanks gb04 for your response.

guru's anyone with concrete answers?? please throw some light..

I met my lawyer and surprisingly he has asked me to continue working if the employer hasn't asked me to stop. He said he has never seen a case rejected for "small" EAD gaps (if the combined gap is under 180 days). So there you have it.. I am going to try my luck and continue working without EAD renewal approval.

Surprisingly about a year ago, the exact same thing was told to me by an IO at a local USCIS office when I was concerned about a possible EAD renewal delay and at that time I just thought she was cookoo.
