My attorney charged me $150 per applicant including mailing charges.
EAD application fee of $120 extra.
I think 250 plus 60 is high.

Our attorney only charges us the state government (labor) or CIS filing fees - everything else is covered in the professional fees agreeed to in the beginning of the GC processing.

Atleast you are all lucky. My attorney asked me to pay 1000 dollars just in professional fees (expenses excluded) for EAD and AP. Well i have to s***** him and took it on my own.

mv1211,

I did my EAD renewal my self. My renwal case has been approved yesterday. Let me know, if you would like to know what are the documents I have attached and the process.

No need to go for an attorney to file this.. it's simple and easy..

Approved - 3/9/04

Cool!.. Now I see where the "shortage of skilled professionals" came from. Why waste your time on computer or biology science when you can charge 1000 bucks for possessing the basic skills of literacy?
It took me one hour and cost 37 cents "in mailing charges" to prepare and mail EAD renewal applications for my wife and myself. Both got approved on March 8th - in 2 months after the notice date.

My attorney took $350 for filing EAD application and then extra for the application and other charges.

Marias and karaya, please let us know the papers needed for EAD and AP renewal.

Thanks.

The I-765 form posted on a USCIS website is quite self-explanatory, but just in case, there is a checklist suggested by our company's legal deparment:

- I-765 application
- 2 color photographs (compliant with USCIS spec).
- Copy of I-485 fee receipt notice.
- $120.00 fee made payable to USCIS - on the same check for all applicants. If both husband and wife are applying, they should submit one check for $240.00.
- Copy of previous EAD card. (if applying for an extension).

I combined all the documents mentioned on this list and in the I-765 instructions.

Good luck!
