EAD renewal at VSC? - help needed

Hi Folks,

We applied for our 485(EB1) in Aug 99 RD-8/99 ND-9/99. We are yet to receive our FP notice. In the meantime, my EAD expires in Nov 2000. Any ideas about how soon I should apply for my EAD
renewal? Is there a special procedure for that? Can I walk-in to any local INS field office for that?

I am planning to apply EAD at local office, because it\'s difficult to control the timing if you file in VSC. But in local office, you can get it very fast. You may even can get in same day according to my friend.

Apply before 90 Days at VSC, they have returned my app. when submitted with District INS office (Arlington, VA).
