My RD is same as u - 6/28/01. I am ruing as to why I didn\'t send it earlier knowing the way TSC works. I am also desperately waiting for my renewal. Gosh this waiting for 485 seems like forever...

        INS gave me receive date June 13th even though they received it on May 19th (tracked Express mail). It is not our mistake, they just say apply before 90 days and they will not give RD till a month so we can\'t even get intrim EAD.

If it is 90 Days from RD, I think we still have time till Sep 28. So dont worry. From what I see so far, we should be hearing soon in about 2 weeks at the most.

By the way, no sign of FP call yet. I filed my 485 along with EAD and AP. Got the AP. Should get EAD soon. As for 485, March 2003 is my day..

   Can we renew the EAD without attorney firm\'s intervention ? If so what I need to do to get the EAD extension done.

Yes You can

I applied for my I485, EAD and AP myself. No attorney of any sort.So I do not see any reason why you can not renew your EAD by your self. Make sure you follow all the instructions for completing the forms. Also, send your application for renewal atleast four months before expiry of your current EAD.
