EAD Renewal Applied Less than 90 days.

Gurus Please Help.

I applied for my EAD renewal and got the receipt from INS with Receipt Date 22nd NOV. My EAD is expiring on 16th February - Giving me less than 90 days (87 days).

I am currently working on my EAD

Anyone has any idea how long it takes in Nebraska right now. Anybody have any similar experiences.

I belive that you'll be ok.

I applied my EAD and AP at Nebraska 2 months ago.

Receipt dates where Oct 20 and got my EAD and AP approval on Dec 1st.

I got an RFE for biometrics not received yet on my EAD. The reason was because they processed my case earlier than my appointment date for my fingerprints!!!!!!!!!

It seems that the service centers are doing a very good job on EAD/AP nowdays.

For paper filing, no need to fingerprint. I did file by paper which is very easy for me... just mail it at convenient time even on saturday!!! No need to wait in line for biometrics during my work offers loosing my hourly $

Same here, i too got RFE for Bio Metrics exactly like you on 11/22/05 where as my Bio Metrics were schedued & done on 11/23/05. However, NSC received my response to their RFE on 12/02/05 and my EAD3 was approved on 12/09/05. In short, my EAD renewal took exactly 54 days incl. RFE.

I797D not sent for renewal

I applied for EAD renewal. But my lawer never asked for I797-D that comes with the orginal EAD it says "Use this Section to speed your application for extension or replacement card"

What should I do. Do I mail it in now or do I wait - Since I applied for EAD (receipt date) to original EAD expiry I have only 87 days.
