EAD Renew

I filed I-485 last September and got EAD card last October. My wife and I both use EAD for employment. Because the VSC processing is slow, do I need to renew EAD right now or just one month before expire? If our EAD has expired and we don\'t get the renewed EAD, can we still work? Please give me some information.

I strongly suggest you apply for your EAD renewal MORE than 3 months before your current one expires. As I mentioned in an earlier post, my EAD renewal app was received 04/28/00 and they have said I will get it by 07/28/00!! My EAD has already expired last month - but I have an H-1 as well, so I am not concerned...
