EAD reciept if not received?? Mr Jaxen help ..

I filed EAD renewal and got reciept for my wife but not mine . I called up NSC and talked to IIO (lucky to get in 3rd try) She could not find my file in computer . I didn't take risk and filed again for myself.

Now if EAD reciept doesn't arrive can we go to local INS with the confirmation reciept from USPS or FEDEX.

If there is any mistake in filing the form ..Is the form rejected and sent back to the applicant .Why did my form not get into the system where is it ????

By the way IIO said she will look if the form has by mistake kept along with my wife's form and not entered

Unless You have proof

of filing EAD (canceled check or receipt from INS) it is difficult to get an interim EAD.
