EAD Receipt

I have applied for 140, EAD and 485 simultaneously in NOV' 03 and i got the receipts (LIN's) for 140, 485 and the checks sent for those cleared too at my bank. My concern is i have not so far received the EAD receipt nor the checks issued for those cleared. In mid December had written letter to INS about the same and attached the LIN's of 485 and 140 ... will there be any result? Any body has any suggestions or opinions why i have not received the receipts? and what should i be doing ?

Don't worry. Sometimes it may take about 2 months for the checkjs to be cleared. However call the service center and provide your 485 receipt number and see if they can track your 765.

They accept all checks. But it is generally not a good idea to sent personal check for 140 since people fear that it may trigger an RFE.

Yes for 765/131/485 personal checks can be used

Our EAD application sent along with the i-485 was never Seen by INS, so on 1/29/04 we e-filed EAD and on 1/30/04 went for finger printing . now shall wait to receive the EAD fingers crossed.
