EAD receipt

Hi everybody

I have a question regarding my EAD application.
First of all I wanna tell you that I am still pending since November 2002 and I still don't have neither interview date nor FP date. Anyway, my lawyer sent my EAD applicatin three weeks ago but I still don't have a receipt from INS.

So, my question is:
Do I have to worry or it is a normal practice of INS to be late with notifying us about our cases?

I am in Florida Gilbert and I am really close to the INS office. The only thing that might be concerned is that I moved in from Maine like 6 months ago.
